Fashion doesn’t have to break the bank. Here’s my first ever Shein Haul and thoughts for Spring 2020.

If you have Facebook, you’ve probably heard of Shein. They advertise on Facebook A LOT and it’s where I first heard of them.
Don’t get me wrong; I love online shopping.
But, when prices seem too good to be true, I’ve very leery. And that’s one of the things that kept me from ordering for Shein.
But, then I spent some time on their site, browsing through dresses and tops and shoes… and before I knew it, I had 10 items in my cart and had been drooling on my phone for three hours.
For 10 items, I only spent $113 and that included free Express shipping. And the shipping was insanely fast. It made it from China to my little town in Montana in under a week.
And, did I mention the Express shipping was FREE?
My expectations were not high. But, I figured if nothing else, I would recoup some of my losses and sell the items in my Poshmark Closet.
But honestly, out of the 10 items I received from Shein, there isn’t one that I don’t like. So, I wanted to share my Shein Haul for Spring 2020 with you guys.
PS: Don’t tell my husband, but I was so impressed that I placed a second order yesterday. Shein may be my new favorite budget fashion website.
03/04/2020: I finished reviewing my second haul from Shein. You can see the whole collection in this post.
Shein Haul: February 2020
I love a striped T-Shirt Dress. Paired with a cute pair of sneakers and a jacket, it’s a perfect casual spring outfit. The material of this dress is very lightweight and soft.
Wearing
- Striped Curved Hem Tshirt Dress
- Ripped Raw Hem Flakes Crop Denim Jacket
- White and Floral Converse Low-Top (similar here)
Leopard print is making a big comeback this year. It was seen multiple times during fashion week 2020. This is a wrap skirt made of a very light chiffon type material.
On me, this skirt comes right to my ankles, but on the model on Shein, it hits just below the knees.
The top is a deep-v bodysuit with lace arms. I have so many outfit ideas for this bodysuit, including other skirts, jeans, and vests. It fits super well and the crotch buttons and hem are not uncomfortable. It has a full coverage butt, not a thong, which I’m grateful for.
Wearing
- Plunging Neck Dobby Mesh Lantern Sleeve Bodysuit
- Leopard Print Tie Side Wrap Skirt
- Revolve Booties (similar here)
This lacey top is a perfect piece for Spring and Summer parties or going out to eat. It is completely sheer and quite short. I am wearing a black bralette under, but you could go with a pastel cami for a more modest, spring look.
The shoes are also part of my Shein Haul and are an open heel, pointy toe flat. I am a sucker for a white shoe and these look so cute with a pair of skinny jeans.

Floral dresses remind my husband of 70s couches. But as for me, I love a cute spring floral dress. This one is a very stretchy t-shirt style material and has a wide scoop neck. It looks super cute with flats for a casual day occasion but can be dressed up with a jacket and heels for a night out.
In the middle photo, I added this black fringe jacket that I got from Shein as well. It’s lightweight and perfect for spring nights.
Wearing
- Scoop Neck Floral Print Bodycon Dress
- Open Front Layered Fringe Solid Cardigan
- Open Heel Slep On Pointed Toe Flats
Little black dresses are my absolute favorite. This one is beautiful. It is very lightweight and stretchy. But it’s incredibly flattering. The scalloping along the chest area is beautiful but would fit someone with a fuller chest a bit better. And the back is open and has a zipper closure.
I also paired this dress with the black fringe jacket from above, and it’s such a fun spring night look. Perfect for going out on a date or with the girls.
Wearing
- Scallop Trip Crisscross Back Bodycon Dress
- Open Front Layered Fringe Solid Cardigan
- Black Pumps (similar here)
This strapless maxi is so cute and the seafoam green color is such a fun spring color. My only complaint with this dress is that it is a bit seethrough on the bottom half.
It’s very long on me, but so are all maxi dresses that aren’t petite specific. Paired with some neutral peep-toe booties added a little height and made the whole look a little chicer. I also paired it with the denim vest from above, which looks really nice when you want to cover your shoulders.
Wearing
- Frill Trim Shirred Slit Hem Tube Dress
- Ripped Raw Hem Flakes Crop Denim Jacket
- Soda Open Toe Booties from my Latest Amazon Fashion Haul
