Hey guys! How are you amidst this crazy CoVid-19 craze? We are all home after returning from Canada and making the most out of self-quarantine.
It’s wild. And I would be lying if I said it’s easy. But, one thing that has kept me motivated and in high spirits is getting up and getting dressed in the morning.
It seems so small, but rather than staying in my pajamas, I’m attempting to put myself together, smile in the mirror, and try to stay as close to routine as possible.
Are you taking full advantage and chillin’ in sweats and pajamas or still getting ready as usual? Totally okay if you’ve decided to take some time off from the normal routine.
I think we should all be focusing a little more on self-care during this time. Although I know this mess isn’t convenient, I am a little grateful for it. I said ‘a little’.
Here are just a few things I’m grateful for amidst this scary time:
- Spending time with the people I love. I can’t think of a better way to be quarantined.
- Slowing down and remembering that we only get one life. The dishes can wait, but snuggles cannot.
- Time to clean and organize without feeling like it’s impeding on more important work tasks.
- The fact that spring is right around the corner, which means warmer weather, dresses, and shorts are on the horizon.
If you haven’t been making a gratitude list, I highly encourage you to take 5 minutes a day to write down what you are grateful for or snag this prompt with 38 Self-Love Journal Prompts.
Having time to reflect on what is good about your life and this situation can make a world of difference in how your day plays out.
But, carrying on from my last gratitude point, I wanted to share some of my favorite spring outfit ideas. I’ve drawn inspiration from other babes in the blogging world, Pinterest, Instagram, and some magazines.
21 Spring Outfit Ideas
At the end of this post, I’m sharing some of my favorite budget-friendly spring pieces that will help you get your wardrobe started. You can take a lot of these pieces and wear them differently for a completely different look.
For instance, a staple leather jacket, a tulle, skirt, and a graphic tee can be turned into a leather jacket over the tee with jeans or leggings. Or snag a pair of leopard print shoes and pair them with different neutral looks.
I hope you get inspired by these spring outfit ideas.
